We’re already into October and for those of us who live in the northern hemisphere, it brings with it the promise of changing colours of leaves everywhere. That also means that winter and the snowy season is not that far behind. OK let’s slow down and enjoy the now for a moment!
Thanksgiving is one of my most favourite holidays! Not for the stuffing (because I’m gluten intolerant), not for the turkey (because I really don’t fancy turkey all that much), not for the pumpkin pie (can’t handle the sugar too well either) but for the all the blessings in my life that I am grateful for!!
I am so grateful my parents immigrated to Canada from Greece. I happen to think it’s the most amazingly incredible country in the world (no offense to anyone not living here – it’s just my opinion, maybe I’m biased! LOL)
I am so grateful for the opportunities I have had offered to me by this amazing land…the true north, strong and free…opportunities for education, for work, a land not ravaged by war..I could go on and on…but I’m sure we all have our long lists of things we’re grateful for.
I am so grateful for my family who without their love and support for one another would render me not so happy and laughing.
The beginning of Thanksgiving weekend for me is always a time when I start a new gratitude journal and for anyone who read the last post..I promised a free goodie!! No strings attached!! I just want to share my journals with you! I have posted a pic below and will be randomly choosing 1 lucky winner on Canadian Thanksgiving Monday!
All you have to do is subscribe to my blog and leave a comment! Thanks!
Wishing you all a very Happy Thanksgiving!!
